What To Write?
Aloha Everyone!
I'm not entirely sure what to write for this blog post as writing daily updates like this are completely out of my comfort zone. I'm not used to writing posts that are so candid yet personal for a class!
I guess I should start off with an introduction. My name is Michelle Jay and I am currently a college student residing in and studying in Honolulu, Hawaii. I aspire to become a nurse that specializes in the pediatrics branch of a hospital. With such a competitive nursing program at my school, it's easy to become discouraged. However, I know that I want to continue helping those who are in need and I want to provide for my family as they get older.
Aside from my major, I do want to talk about my interests! Many people love Netflix but I am an avid Youtube fan. Youtube has everything on its platform whether it's videos about cats, food adventures, beauty tips, or something completely randomly generated in the recommendations section. Either way, I can spend hours on Youtube and I always find myself whizzed down into the enrapturing rabbit hole of quirky videos.
I also love cats. They're remarkable specimens that are self-reliant, easy to care for, and incredibly loving yet austere in their personalities and attitudes. I've just recently adopted a stray kitten into my home, so be sure to look out for potential posts on that topic! Therefore, I've got two wonderful cats both of the tabby pattern. Their names are analogous to the sky, stars, and night, which perfectly encapsulates my admiration for all things evening-esque!
