Movies I'm Excited For!

Upcoming Movies (:

Hi everyone! With this year coming to an end, it's important to make the best of it and to make as many memories as you can! I'd like to dedicate this post to the movies that I am most excited to watch. I rarely go out to movies and I believe I've only gone to like 3 movies this entire year. I often find that movies are a great way to catch up with friends. It's also a great way to immerse yourself in a world you've never been to before. I'll be listing 2 movies I'm planning to watch within this year and the upcoming year.

JUMANI: THE NEXT LEVEL (December 2019)
I was a little late to the bandwagon when it came to watching the first Jumanji (starring Robin Williams). I was also a little late in watching the newest adaptation of it (the recent one starring The Rock, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and even Nick Jonas). However, after watching both the original and the most recent Jumanji movie, I found myself pleasantly surprised and entertained by the actors and the plot. This movie is coming out just in time for Christmas and though it's not Christmas-themed at all, it is surely a great way to spend time with friends and family.

The characters are back at it again, tackling the wonderful, enigmatic game of Jumanji! I'm excited to see the adventures they go through and will be looking forward to all the CGI that will help to make the movie a lot more realistic!

SPONGE ON THE RUN (May 2020)
I'm a long time, die-hard Spongebob fan and as kiddish as it sounds, I am incredibly excited for this movie. SpongeBob has been my favorite cartoon since I was young and I've managed to watch all the movies that came out in the franchise. As I grew up, I slowly lost touch with the current seasons of SpongeBob running on TV, but it still holds a deep place in my heart.

The main plot revolves around SpongeBob searching for his pet snail, Gary, who's become "snail-napped." Along the way, he searches Bikini Bottom with the help of his friends. He encounters a few distractions and even finds himself in the Lost City of Atlantis! Either way, I have high hopes for this movie but to be clear, I don't think any other movie will top the first one.

  1. Spongebob was one of my favorite cartoons growing up! My mom even made me a Spongebob cake for one of my birthdays! I can't wait to see Jumanji either. I love the whole Jumanji series.

  2. I'm also really excited for Jumanji and Spongebob too! After watching the first movie for Jumanji, I've been a real fan of Kevin Hart. Recently I heard that he was in a really bad accident. But a few days ago he recovered and was on a award show which made me really happy. Spongepop was also one of my childhood TV shows. I never got to watch the other episodes so I'm really curios of this movie.
